The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; To develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
The UMW has been an integral part of the mission program at Ellendale Methodist for decades and has been very active in supporting mission projects within EUMC, the Memphis Conference, and on a national scale.
Currently, the UMW at Ellendale Methodist is divided into four circles. We encourage you to visit one or all of these circles and find the best fit for your spiritual needs.

SUSANNAH CIRCLE
Susannah Circle was named for Susannah Wesley, mother of John Wesley. This circle meets the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. at the church where they plan their participation in various mission projects. They provide assistance in mission work of the Neighborhood Centers and UMCOR (United Methodist Commission on Relief). One of their ongoing projects is collecting stuffed toys for the Bartlett Fire and Police Department. These toys are given to children of domestic violence and/or children who have lost their things in a fire.
